Why are "peace" protestors so violent?
Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?

Anti-war protest turns violent
Wednesday 26 March 2003, 4:05 PM
An anti-war protest in Sydney has turned violent, with youths throwing chairs and rocks at police.
About 2,000 students, some claiming to be as young as 10, crammed into Martin Place in the CBD, screaming, "no war, no war".
Hundreds of police attempting to calm the situation formed a human barrier but protesters rushed the line of officers, who were then forced to pull back.
Protesters then began throwing chairs from a nearby cafe, as well as rocks, bottles, eggs, firecrackers and marbles.
Police had mace cans at the ready but did not use them.
"Didn't anyone tell you?
They are protecting all of our rights to free speech and peace!" <--- Really now? So next time you get hit with a rock or bottle you will think the person who threw it was protecting your right to peace?
They will have peace even if they have to kill you to achieve it.
