Photo Of Elvis: Who's The Other Man?

I was looking through the country music memorabilia my dad left me and found a photo of Elvis. It was taken in September of 1955 in Norfolk VA at a Hank Snow concert(Elvis was touring with Hank). There's another man in the picture, I'm pretty sure it's Gene Vincent. Is there any way I can verify this? Daddy was a big fan of both and he knew Gene growing up, it would mean a lot to me to have a bit of my father's history. Sorry, can't post the photo, don't have a scanner.

Wow . That is some nice memorabilia that you dad left you.! I think for starters you could go to Google or Yahoo images and type in Gene Vincent's name to see if that indeed looks like him. I don't know of any way to personally guarantee for sure that that was him , but it's obvious if your daddy left it , the odds that it was photo shopped are very rare. If you were going to sell it then you would need more reliable evidence but it sounds like it means a lot to you and I hope you keep it as a dear reminder.
